Director of Research at Gallup to give Keynote Address

Dr. Tim Hodges is the Director of Research at Gallup. He consults with K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, and leaders in workforce development and policy. He leads projects in strengths development, employee selection, employee engagement, and well-being.

Hodges’ mission is to help ensure that our nation’s schools are great places to work and learn so our students are well prepared for college, career, and life success.

Hodges has delivered presentations and written journal articles and technical reports on many topics related to education and workforce development.

An active volunteer in the community, Hodges has served on the boards of the national nonprofit Center to Advance Career Technical Education, Nebraska’s Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education, the Gallup Federal Credit Union, and Christian Heritage, an organization serving at-risk children and youth. Hodges currently serves as a member of the UNL Chancellor’s Alumni Advisory Council and as an elder for Brookside Church in Omaha.

Hodges received a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness, a master’s degree in leadership education and a doctorate in business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Hodges will open the 2018 ASBSD-SASD Convention with a keynote address at 9 a.m. in the Convention Center’s Grand Ballroom.
